Yes, you heard us right.
As part of the Jubilee Tour, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge will be coming to Singapore on September 11 for 2 days before heading to Malaysia on September 13. St James Palace confirmed this in a press release on July 25. Details on the royal couple’s itinerary will be published in due course but it is expected to be two days of location-hopping and fancy soirees for the couple. William and Kate have garnered significant buzz since their relationship blossomed in 2001. The couple tied the knot on 29 April 2011, with close to 72 million people watching the livestream on the YouTube Royal Channel. Another 36.7 million viewers watched the wedding on television.
This is the second trip the couple will be taking on behalf of the British government in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. The event was held to celebrate 60 years of the Queen on the throne. We shall be expecting some glorious fashion from the duchess who never fails to impress on the red carpet with tasteful yet fashionable choices. We also cannot wait to see an adorable couple showing their love for the world. Can you say “Awwww?”
We will keep you updated on the royal couple’s itinerary plans on our Facebook and Twitter pages. We can’t wait to bring out our Philip Treacy-inspired hats (unless you have the real deal, of course) and have our 15 minutes of royalty grandeur!
P.S. While you’re at that, getting The Royal Wedding Soundtrack actually seems like a pretty legit thing to do now.
P.P.S. Will we see Pippa? Won’t we see Pippa? Oh, the questions of her bootylicious highness!
