I still can’t get over the fact that a girl willing to come up with the funniest statement about how she had a brief sex (very brief if you claimed it only lasted 30 secs) when he was still 16. Honestly, it would be better if she claims having sex with Bieber’s mentor, Usher instead. At least we can be sure that he is going to give her one hell of a quickie. -Ada

What do you do when you’re bitter that an icon no longer makes music? Spread a rumour about his death, of course! Not only was it fake, Bon Jovi posted an image of him by the Christmas tree shortly after. The king of troll. -Sadali

Also possibly the most random piece of news in 2011, this shows that anyone is capable of an affair. After admitting that he did father a child out of wedlock, the Terminator has since terminated his marriage with partner Maria Shriver. Sorry Arnold, but you won’t be back. -Sadali

4. Beyonce has a fake baby
Is she wearing a body suit? Is her baby surrogated? Why is the duration of her pregnancy so short? These questions were raised after Beyonce appeared on an Australian television show, where what seemed like a prosthetic bump folded as she sat down for the interview.

1. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries
This marriage seemed like a marketing scam, and a huge cry for attention. After spending millions of dollars on a wedding that was broadcasted on television alongside an insane amount of media mentions, Kim pulls a Kardashian and files for a divorce with then hubby Kris Humphries after 72 days.

Possibly the most shocking split of the year, the latino power couple called it quits after an apparently abusive relationship. Jennifer Lopez has since been seen out and about with a new hubby and it won’t be long before Marc Anthony finds one. You can always rain on him. -Sadali.

The one that got away — after a seemingly happy marriage that lasted a year, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have called it quits. They filed for divorce citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ and claim that they remain friends. This doesn’t come as a surprise to some as it was reported that the pair didn’t spend Christmas together. -Dian

Surprise, surprise, someone actually managed to beat Kim’s record! After tying the knot in Vegas, the Irish singer-songwriter divorced her husband Barry Herridge, ending a mere 16 day-long marriage. He claims he had felt “intense pressure” from his family to not to GET involved with Sinead. And people daresay homosexuals are ruining the sanctity of marriage. -Dian

The last straw for their 6-year marriage was the cheating scandal — it was revealed that Kutcher had cheated on Moore earlier in September with 22-year old Sara Leal, who provided an account of the affair to the magazine Us Weekly. According to sources, their marriage was a ticking time bomb. Did the 19-year age difference have anything to do with it?
